Imagine yourself in the grounds of a 16th Century thatched cottage, in rural Dorset. The river Piddle can be heard flowing nearby and the birdsong and gentle breeze is whispering through the trees. You are surrounded by fields, heathland and forests, and the Jurassic Coast is just a few miles away. Heaven... well that's what we think anyway, and we would like to share it with you. Come to stay in our beautiful log cabin, complete with spacious raised deck with views down to the river Piddle.

The Cochrane Wing, Athelhampton

The Cochrane Wing was lovingly refurbished in 2022. The rooms are beautifully appointed, each one with its own character. With 4 ensuite bedrooms, modern kitchen dining room and sitting room. Athelhampton is a Tudor Manor, open to the public, however the Cochrane Wing is private throughout your stay. A courtyard provides an area for alfresco eating. The stunning gardens are available for you to enjoy in private during the evening. Free admission to Athelhampton House & Gardens during your stay.

White Cottage

Relax with the whole family and your dog in this peaceful, traditional Dorset village. White Cottage is a charming, recently refurbished 2-bedroom retreat. Located on a quiet country lane with no through traffic, parking is freely available at the top of the lane. From here, you can easily explore the many beauty spots of the Isle of Purbeck, including the stunning Jurassic Coast, the ruins of Corfe Castle, Poole Harbour, and Brownsea Island. Enjoy the sandy beaches around Swanage and Studland.

It is very individual and situated in a quiet , rural setting. It has two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. The village of Martinstown has an excellent pub and shop. Park Farm Byre

Relax in the heart of the Dorset countryside. Located 1 mile from the historic village of Tolpuddle, in a rural location, Park Farm Byre sleeps 5 guests in 3 bedrooms. The Byre has an open plan kitchen-dining-living room, and a log burning stove. Outside there is a courtyard area with bbq, outdoor dining table and a wood fired hot tub. The friendly owners are on site but you are assured of your privacy. Dorchester is 15 minutes away, and it’s 25 minutes to the stunning Jurassic Coast.

Jasmine Cottage

Jasmine Cottage is a characterful, compact barn conversion, that sits next to the 400 year old farm house. It sleeps up to four people (including infants), with a double and a twin room. We are one mile away from The Wise Man Inn - an award-winning pub; 6 miles from Dorset's stunning Jurassic coast and 3 miles from the county town of Dorchester. You will, however, need a car- or bikes! Sorry, no pets and no smoking. No EV charging, yet, but there are many fast charging points nearby.
