Lovely 1940s cottage located in beautiful downtown Charlottesville. Less than 1 mile to the downtown mall, with coffee shops and top Belmont restaurants close by, some within a 5 minute walking distance. The cottage is across the street from Meade Park and the Wednesday farmers market from May to September. Perfect for a romantic couples getaway or a family vacation. The Cottage at Fruit Hill is nestled between our peach and apple orchards on my family’s 12 acre farm. Take a stroll through the peach blossoms, pick from our sunflower patch, enjoy some private time in the orchards during the fall, and gaze at our Christmas lights display in December. This charming cottage was originally built in the 1940’s and has recently been updated to be as comfortable for our guests as possible. Come enjoy a peaceful getaway at the orchard!

Our home has been the preferred landing pad for friends and family for over 20 years, and we love welcoming new folks! The house has lots of great rainy day activities (PS4, records, puzzles, comically large TV, and more), abundant outdoor hangout space, and astonishingly fast fiber internet. Our neighborhood, Belmont, is the best! It's eclectic and diverse in every way, close to the Downtown Mall and UVA, and super walkable.

Beautiful setting, located within 5 minute drive to 3 wineries in White Hall, within 10 minutes to additional 3 wineries and 2 breweries. Hiking trails and nearby public access to the designated scenic Moorman's river for fishing, swimming or enjoying a picnic. Fishing and boating in lake just steps in front of cottage.
