Take a break and unwind at this peaceful cabin situated close to York and Wilberfoss. A perfect place to escape with your loved ones, explore nearby villages and local walks. There are two bedrooms a bathroom including bath and shower. There’s a comfy corner sofa and large open plan living area to cook and eat together, relax and watch a movie. Take breakfast on the balcony. During the day enjoy the patio and lunch outside or lounge in the sun. The hot tub makes for a perfect evening wind down.

With its double height vaulted ceiling and full height double aspect windows the open plan kitchen living diner offers a light and airy space to unwind and enjoy the view of surrounding fields. There is also a wood burning stove to keep you cosy. We are in a quiet village called East Cottingwith: a fantastic base for visiting York and touring Yorkshire. Ideal for cyclists, bird watchers, walkers and anyone who wishes to enjoy a rural location close to the attractions of the city of York. There is no regular public transport.

Our Shepherd's Hut provides the perfect secluded, rural getaway to escape, relax and unwind! Our cosy hut has a fully plumbed en-suite shower room and toilet inside the hut. It is set in its own private garden, tucked away in the quiet countryside of the East Riding of Yorkshire. Escape to relax in the hot tub with food cooked on your own gas BBQ. The hut is complete with a kitchenette, fold down table, a double bed, three quarter bunk and for cosy nights in, a log burner.

NO SMOKERS. The HOT TUB is exclusively yours! This barn is unsuitable for children. Please ensure that all guests are happy with the house rules before booking. Please also note that the property has slipper baths - there are no showers or shower heads (see pictures) Private area with seating and a hot tub. We are in the countryside but only 2 miles from local amenities. Pocklington is 2 miles, The beautiful city of York is 12 miles, the coast is only an hours drive.

Off street parking, private entrance (small step)key safe check in, walk in wardrobe, dressing table, long mirror, double bed (sleeps up to 2) and an en-suite. Access to a kitchenette/utility kitted with a toaster, microwave/oven and kettle. Teas and coffee are available you will need to bring some milk. The garden is a shared space.
