Our cabin was originally a grainery. We moved it to sit on a wooded knoll on our working sheep farm. Mornings can be spent relaxing on our front porch while watching lambs play. We offer a firepit and outdoor furniture to better enjoy the peaceful seclusion of our slice of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Guests are just 10 minutes to downtown Lexington, Virginia Military Institute, Washington & Lee University, Southern Virginia University & the Virginia Horse Center. The owner is a VMI alumnus.

Due to the age of this cottage, it has some quirks that you should consider before booking: 1. The bathroom is on the 2nd floor. 2. The stairs are steep, irregular & open on one side. 3. The shower is small and may be difficult for tall or larger individuals.
