This is a fabulous location for enjoying a range of outdoor pursuits to include fishing, windsurfing and wild swimming. It is a great location for bird watching, spotting Bottlenose dolphins, porpoises and grey seals which frequent the Firth between Chanonry Point and Fort George, an 18th century fortress near Ardersier. The village offers a range of amenities including restaurants, a convenience store, doctors’ surgery and pharmacy. It is located approximately 3 miles from Inverness Airport.

Added later, the adjacent 200 year old cottage has been beautifully renovated and sits in a peaceful location within a 2 acre garden surrounded by open countryside. It’s perfectly situated as a base for exploring the highlands of Scotland, the fabulous beaches and places of interest around the Moray Firth, as well as being on the doorstep of the acclaimed Malt Whisky Trail. The Studio is on the east side of Glen Nochty enjoying open views of the Nochty River and the Doune of Invernochty. The village itself is a 5 minute walk away, with a local shop.

A unique and beautiful Shepherd's Hut on the Black Isle. Specifically commissioned by Black Isle Brewery, the hut is in the middle of our organic brewery farm. The brewery sits on one side with organic farmland, farmhouse and vegetable patch on the other. You are 10 minutes from Inverness by car and 20 minutes from Inverness airport.
