The Beara Bus....with Awesome Views

The Beara Bus is a unique living space situated on the coastline with stunning views across the Atlantic to the Sheeps Head and Mizen Head Peninsulas and Bere Island. The entrance to the harbour of Castletownbere ( Irelands second largest fishing port) can be seen with the daily coming and goings of the fishing fleet. In the waters below the Bus basking shark, minke whale and dolphins are frequent visitors. The sun rising up over Sheeps Head Peninsula can make for an unforgettable breakfast !

Alpaca Lodge with stunning views and alpacas

The Alpaca Lodge is a free standing stone building next to our farmhouse in a rural location (16km from Kenmare), surrounded by our herd of friendly free-roaming alpacas and llamas, with stunning views of Kenmare Bay. It has a cozy bedroom with a king-size bed, a small seating area and en-suite bathroom. Cereal, milk, porridge, orange juice, snack bars and biscuits are provided in the room, and there is a kettle, microwave, toaster and a small fridge, tea & coffee, cutlery & plates . AGE 12+

Katie’s Fastnet Cabin

Katie’s Fastnet Cabin The stunning seascape changes every day in front of the nautical themed Fastnet Cabin. Relax and enjoy the ebb and flow of the tide overlooking Croagh Bay located just inside the iconic Fastnet Lighthouse. Situated a 10 minute (10km) drive from Schull the location is ideal to immerse yourself in all the sea and the Wild Atlantic Way has to offer (swimming, kayaking, fishing, sailing) and enjoy the West Cork walking trails, including Barleycove Beach and Mizen Head.

Shepherds Hut overlooking Kilmackilogue Harbour

We are situated on the Beara Peninsula, just up the road from Helen's Bar in Kilmackilogue. Our Shepherds Hut called The Bothy, overlooks the sea, and is three minutes walk to the beach. Enjoy nature at its best with views of Kenmare Bay and its surrounding mountains. It is a hikers paradise, lying just off 'The Beara Way' . Cyclists will also be in their element with The Healy Pass a few kilometres away. Kenmare is half an hour away with wonderful shops and restaurants.

The Cottage

The Cottage is located on 11 acres of pasture and woodland on the shores of Ardgroom harbour. It has 2 km of shoreline with inlets and private pebble beach, ideal for swimming and kayaking, Class A waters. It has a sheltered south facing aspect with a well maintained gardens, rare tropical tree ferns overlooking the harbour with views of Tooth Mountain. It is a 3 minute drive to Ardgroom Village, a 15 minute drive to Castletownbere and a 35 minute drive to Kenmare.

A brand new luxury timber frame glamping pod, set in a wonderful rural village in West Cork called Eyeries. We are a working beef farm and can look after your bikes/motorbikes on site in a safe environment. The Pods have wonderful mountain views and to those who enjoy nature and getting away from the madness for a little while, then this is for you. Each pod is like a little mini apartment. We live near them, so can help with any questions that you might have.

The Turf Cottage

Built with locally sourced timber and stone, and finished with custom cabinetry and artisan furnishings, it’s a one-of-a-kind retreat—perfect after hiking, cycling, farm life, meditation, or nights of lively trad music.

This lovingly restored old fisherman's cottage is the perfect base for a quiet romantic getaway. Our secluded cottage, a stones throw from the beach, offers high speed, fibre optic broadband. With its exposed stone walls and wooden beams it gives a cosy feel. It's the perfect place to relax & unwind. Or in these ever changing times, why not try a remote working week from the beach and keep connected from the edge of the Atlantic Ocean!

The Hideaway @ Three Castle Head

The Hideaway at Three Castle Head is truly unique property situated at the head of a beautiful valley with not another house in sight and surrounded only by wild nature. The views from the cabin are breathtaking with Dunlough Castle in the near distance, the lake beside it and the wild Atlantic ocean stretching off to Beara Peninsula across the water. Photographs just don't capture the true majesty of the place.

The Holly House, Ardgroom Village

Holly House, Ardgroom Village, was previously the living quarters of an old Bar, The Holly Bar, Ardgroom...it has been a derelict building for many years but I have brought it back to its original beauty...The Bar is still attached to the house sitting on the bank of An Cappal River, Ardgroom ..The bar area is being refurbished to be included eventually with the Airbnb house
