Relax with the family lakeside and among the cedars at this peaceful A-frame retreat on the shoreline of Lake Huron. The door opens up into a large living room and kitchen with a 180 degree view of the lake. An 8-foot island surrounded by bar stools anchors the kitchen. Watch the famous Lake Huron sunsets while having a meal or soaking in the hot tub. Our front is a rocky beach with a fire pit. We swim here with our water shoes. The sandy beach is a 2 mins drive or a 5-10 min bike ride.

Our Rustic Beach House is simply furnished and set on you very own private pond with a private beach. It has electricity, does not have plumbing. Fresh drinking water is supplied. Bathroom is a clean, private outhouse and you have access to our guest shower facility on premises from 6-9 am/pm daily. As your Bed and Breakfast host we will personally greet you and check you in and always remain on property while offering you privacy. We are designed for a quiet, peaceful rustic getaway.

This property is situated on the banks of the Saugeen River in the town of Durham. Guests will have full use of the 1 1/2 story bungalow, landscaped lot and private beach area. A short stroll up the street takes you to McGowan's Falls and access to the Durham Conservation Area, with its public beaches and hiking trails.
