Welcome to our private, cozy suite, Country Star. A sunny walkout basement apartment with patio and easy parking next to entrance makes coming and going a breeze. Country Star features a kitchenette, with table and chairs, one bedroom with queen bed and closet, and a full bath/shower. It provides comfortable space for two, with extra space for a pack-n-play or fold out lounge chair/bed for a third person. (See note in 'other'). Its an older neighborhood, but we find it simple and comfortable – our hope is that you will too. Once here you are 10 minutes from Shenandoah National Park, 10 minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway and 10 minutes from the Appalachian Trail. We are also 30 minutes from the University of Virginia campus. It’s just over the mountain on Interstate 64.

Situated with perfect views of the outside, the guest quarters space is over 2200 sq ft. and features a lounge/media center, common meeting area, bedrooms & bathrooms, entertainment center with air hockey table and ping pong, and a fully supplied gym. Escape to our guest suite in the Shenandoah Valley. Nestled on 2.5 acres, our charming home offers a private entrance and a cozy retreat. Step onto the patio to witness the breathtaking sunrise over the Blue Ridge Mountains by our smokeless SoloStove fire pit. Adjacent to Cross Keys Farm, surrounded by the Cross Keys Battlefield, history and nature await. We are conveniently located near JMU, Massanutten Resort, wineries, breweries, farms, and downtown Harrisonburg.

Private entrance with outdoor patio in a peaceful neighborhood. We have books, games, and toys available for families with kids. There is a TV with access to HBONow, Disney+, and Netflix. Having lived in the area for many years, we can offer great recommendations for restaurants, activities, hikes, and places to explore.
