Cosy Stone Coach House near Glasgow

The Coachhouse is cosy and quiet. It has its own entrance and is completely separate from the main house. There is a private gated courtyard that guests are also welcome to use. Only 5 minutes from East Kilbride and 20 minutes from Glasgow but surrounded by fields and countryside Full use of the Coachhouse and the courtyard next to it Feel free to contact me with any queries by phone, text, e mail The property is only a couple of minutes from the village of Carmunnock, a pretty conservation village and the only official village left in Glasgow. There is a local shop, pharmacy, and an excellent restaurant in the town. There is parking next to the Coachhouse. Getting around by car is ideal but we are also only minutes from two train stations and there are regular buses in the village minutes up the road. We have two dogs but they are friendly and kept in the main house or our back garden.

Craobh Mòr (Kroove More) Wee Bothy in Balquhidder

Stay amongst the Scottish hills and lochs in The Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. Our private, no pets, one bedroom bothy is a cosy haven settled in Balquhidder Glen. Enjoy the wildlife as Deer, Red Squirrel, Pheasants and wild Rabbits will be your neighbours. Climb the many mountains in the area, some within walking distance of our front door or explore the local walks. Visit the grave of Rob Roy MacGregor or curl up infront of our woodburning stove with some hot cocoa and a good book.

Small cottage in town centre

The cottage is located at the bottom of the main house's small private garden. It is quiet & secure. Half a minutes walk from Largs train station. Fully equipped for self catering. This studio style cottage has a shower room with towels ,shower gel, toilet rolls and handwash supplied. A small kitchen area with electric cooker, sink, fridge with ice box , kettle and toaster. The kitchen cupboard is stocked with complementary tea, coffee and cereal. The fridge will also be stocked ,fresh milk,etc.

Spacious lodge with king sized bed

The lodge is open plan with plenty of space and has its own private driveway, front door, living area, fully fitted kitchen and shower room. Tea and coffee is supplied for your comfort. Take advantage of the decking area, experience 360 degree peaceful views of Dun Leacainn and surrounding hills while watching the wildlife and capture great memories. On a clear evening the stars fill the sky. The walks directly around the lodge are full of history and stunning views including a waterfall.

The Wee Glasshouse

The Wee Glasshouse is a modern, studio apartment in the picturesque coastal location of Dalgety Bay. It’s designed to enjoy breathtaking views of the bridges and is situated on the Fife Coastal Path with its many beaches and woodlands. The Wee Glasshouse has features similar to our own house which was filmed for More 4’s ‘Building The Dream’. TV Presenter Charlie Luxton visited several times to record its progress and was aired in Jan 2017. In 2020 it featured in Scotland’s Home of the Year.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Located just 5 minutes from the airport, the guesthouse is superbly located for both business and leisure purposes. The self-contained studio apartment has views on the green fields, with nice walks close by. A decking area with outdoor furniture is great for breathing in the fresh air. The guest house is ideally located in Central Scotland with motorway access to all areas North, South, East and West 5 minutes drive from the location. The railway station at Falkirk High with a journey time of 20 minutes to both Glasgow and Edinburgh is a 10 minute drive.

The Coach House, Gourock, is located in a quiet area a few minutes walk from the Main Street with shops, pubs and the train station. The Coach House is a charming space in a converted period building. There is private parking with electric charging point and outside seating area.
