Relax in front of the woodburning stove after a days exploring, watch the sun set over Penrhyn Castle, take a walk down to the beach, or enjoy a drink at the The Slate Tavern and a walk home across the fields. Just down the road is the Lon Las Ogwen route 82 cycle path which runs from Bethesda to Bangor. We are situated in a great position for walkers and cyclists. Ty Nain is a bright holiday home close to the University, shops and restaurants in Bangor. The house boasts a sea view over Hirael Bay and the Pier is a short stroll away. There is a bus stop near the property and the railway station is a 15 minute walk, so a car is not essential. Local attractions include Zip World, Snowdonia, Anglesey beaches and coastal paths, local castles (Caernarfon/Penrhyn), Greenwood Forest Park, Welsh Mountain Zoo, and Pili Palas for family fun.

Take a local walk in the Ogwen valley, to Zip World or access climbing, walking, mountain biking and kayaking activities in Snowdonia directly from the cottage. A relaxing evening soak in the hot tub can be recommended.
