The Stone Cottage: Close to HITS & Weekend Fun

In the 1700s Queen Anne of the Netherlands gifted a parcel of land to her Dutch subjects, the Schoonemakers. The family built a stone cottage, from which they cultivated acres of orchards in the Hudson Valley. Today, you can stay in this 275-year old stone cottage and enjoy its modern kitchen, European bath, wide-plank pine floors and sun lit bedrooms. Half a mile away, you'll find Falling Waters preserve with hiking trails through the woods and down to the Hudson River.

In 2026, the pool will be available for bookings 5/22 - 9/18. A quiet and private getaway in the Hudson Valley and convenient to many popular activities. NOTE: For bookings during pool season, guests will be asked to review and agree to the safety rules relating to the pool.

Tivoli Star Gazing Cabin

Down a long driveway, set amongst 100 year old trees and meadows, the cabin offers time in the quiet country though only minutes to the lively village of Tivoli. With a wrap around porch for morning coffee, fire fly viewing or star gazing. It has a soaking tub, with a hand held shower. The cabin is part of our family compound of a main house and a small garden hut. Each property has an independent outdoor space for relaxing and privacy.
