The 'Lil' Cabin

Welcome to the cozy lil cabin where you can enjoy serene water views. The main floor of the cabin features a full kitchen, living room with king sized pull out couch, washer/dryer and bathroom. The upstairs sleeping area has a queen bed on one side of the catwalk and twin on the other. Please be aware the stairs leading to the sleeping area are steep and narrow. The cabin has an open concept layout. The lil cabin is conveniently located 5 min. from two grocery stores and 30 min. to Aspen.

Hear the river at the Frying Pan Studio

Basalt's location is convenient to both ends of the Roaring Fork Valley. It is ten-minute walk along the Frying Pan River to downtown Basalt. However, transportation is recommended. We accept pets at the studio, either one large or 2 small; there is a $50 pet fee. Please let us know if you wish to bring yours. We ask that the pet be kennel if left behind while you go out. Obey Town of Basalt's leash and patrol ordinances. Drop cloths provided if they are allowed on furniture.

It has a private patio and garden and is steps away from Basalt's restaurants, shopping, galleries and the world class Frying Pan River. Our two town bikes make it easy to grab fresh provisions at Skips Market, a farm store down the street . The RFTA bus stop is downtown for easy transit to Aspen, Highlands and Snowmass ski areas and the surrounding area.

Our rustic cabin near the Frying pan river is the perfect getaway for those seeking a real mountain retreat. We are located at the base of Seven Castles and your cabin is just 5 minutes from downtown Basalt and 25 minutes to Aspen or Glenwood Springs. We welcome guests traveling with 1 dog. For an additional fee. The space is very small and the views are big. This is the perfect base for your mountain adventures.

Creekside Cabin at Four Mile Creek Guest Cabins

The Creekside cabin is a charming and cozy, log cabin with a full kitchen and bath. It has a queen size bed and a full size bed (all in the same sleeping area). Enjoy sleeping to the sound of Four Mile Creek right outside the windows. Beginning January 1, 2025 we will not be serving breakfast but we will be providing Coffee, Teas and creamer in the cabins.

Enjoy your stay in a cozy apartment next to our hand built log and stone home halfway between Aspen and Glenwood Springs. We have many amenities, such as a fire pit outside , access to a swimming pool and tennis courts in the summer, a sauna in other seasons, as well as incredible views and lovely outdoor areas.
