The Acorn of Little Sand Bay Dog Friendly

Modern-rustic, Aframe on 10 wooded acres; beautiful, simple décor, fully equipped kitchen, glass stove top, air-fryer oven, filtered H2O/ice maker. Enjoy a luxurious bathroom, with a heated tile floor, walk-in shower. Towels, shampoo/conditioner/bodywash are provided. King bed in loft and NEW king gel memory foam bed on main floor. Smart TV, wi-fi. Woodstove heats the cabin perfectly as the main heat source. All wood is provided for woodstove and firepit. There is a minisplit heat/ac unit.

Norrsken Scandinavian Cottage

The guest cottage is painted to resemble a Scandinavian retreat. Complete with separate bedroom, extra fold-out sofa queen bed, kitchenette, wood burning stove, WiFi (the best we can find but not great!!!) and large television (DirecTV), it is a great getaway for a couple or a family. Owners live on property if you need anything. If you are a bit adventurous, we can put up a tent right next to Lake Superior. The entire property is smoke free. For a quiet stay, no snowmobiles or ATVs.

Twisting Twig Gardens and Orchard Yurt

Our yurt offers a sweet retreat in the woods about 10 miles outside of Bayfield. We are located on a small working organic farm with vegetable gardens, apple trees, and rustic accommodations. We are close to great outdoor recreation near Lake Superior and are about 6 miles from Meyers Beach in the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore. Our property is located on 40 acres and is very remote. We are on the edge of thousands of acres of county land. The perfect escape!

Turtle Yurts - Yurt 1

1 Bedroom, 1 Bath, Sleeps 2 Nestled among the north woods, this yurt is a comfortable and unique getaway. The design is a contemporary twist on the traditional yurt, featuring classic yurt elements such as lattice walls and radial rafters, along with modern comforts. The yurt sleeps up to two guests with a queen-size bed sitting under a clear dome to watch the sky above. There is a sitting area, as well as a bathroom, complete with hot shower and flush toilet.

Applegate Cottage - South Shore of Lake Superior

Applegate cottage is an adorable cottage located just a short walk from the beautiful beach in Herbster, Wisconsin on the Lake Superior Scenic Byway. Whether you like hiking, biking, kayaking, skiing or just relaxing, there’s something nearby for everyone. Bayfield County has orchards, wineries, the Apostle Islands, sea caves, boutique shopping, waterfalls, great restaurants and so much more! Best of all…the sunsets! And, every season brings it’s own beauty!

Relax in this peaceful hillside suite overlooking Lake Superior and Madeline Island. Wake to beautiful sunrise views and enjoy a short walk to downtown Bayfield’s restaurants, shops, marina, ferry, parks, and hiking trails. This cozy cottage-style apartment is the perfect home base for exploring the area while enjoying a quiet coastal retreat. 1 dog allowed (up to 60 lbs). Pets may not be left unattended in the suite. The apartment has a private entrance for guests, 2 bedrooms, full kitchen, full bathroom & comfortable living room area. Island View Retreat is conveniently located 0.5 Miles from the heart of downtown Bayfield. A 10 minute walk to coffee shops, restaurants, city dock and more!

Romantic Vineyard Cabin, Sauna, Plunge Pool

Come and celebrate all that Bayfield has to offer at this quiet vineyard and forest getaway, just 2 miles from downtown. Located in Bayfield's charming Fruit Loop, you'll be surrounded by vines, forest, orchards, and berry farms. The Scandinavian cabin, forest facing sauna with plunge pool, and vineyard sit within acres of secluded woods. The cabin has an occupancy limit of 2 adults and one dog. There is a $40 pet fee.

The Long House

My place is close to Lake Superior and the Apostle Islands It is located 2 miles north of Washburn or 10 miles south of Bayfield. Peaceful country setting, the long house is a freshly remodeled mobile home. Sorry, no pets. I have increased the number of guests to six . There are 4 double beds in the cabin. If you are booking with more than 4 guests, please allow for this. Thanks you! Open June 1 - mid October

Palma Lodge

You will be staying in a private apartment within our main house. The apartment has a private entrance, upstairs bedroom with a full size bed, downstairs sitting room with a full size futon, kitchenette and private bathroom.
