Welcome in our charming cottage with the sounds of the little river, frogs and the ocean in the background. Betty's Bay is well known for its unspoiled nature, mountain, fynbos, beaches, lakes and gorgeous African (jackass) penguins. The penguins are within walking distance. The famous Harold Porter Botanical gardens is 5 minutes drive away. Betty's Bay has endless hiking, surfing, angling and snorkeling opportunities. A local grocery store is about 700 metres from the house.

Thundering waves

Thundering Waves is a beautifully positioned house, with wonderful views of the mountains on the one side and breaking waves on the other. You will love the new bathrooms and the modern kitchen which flows into lots of living space. A stones throw to the beach on one side and uninterrupted mountain views from the wooden deck and outside braai on the other side, the feel of the house is just 'beachy'. 100 m walk to the beach and a short stroll to beautiful Bass Lake.

Shell seeker's nest

With the majestic Overberg mountains looming in the background of our spacious and peaceful garden, here you can find small animals like porcupine, mongoose and tortoises. We are a 10min walk from Silversands beach and a 5min drive from the famous penguin colony. The front part of the house is yours while staying with us. Inside the newly renovated house you will be met with an indoor fireplace, brand new kitchen, bathroom and a big outdoor patio.
