Welcome to our Cozy Cabin Retreat just 19 minutes north of Sandpoint. 4 acres of mature cedar trees and the crystal clear pack river. Perfect for couples or large groups, our property features an additional dry lodging cabin you can add to your booking based on your party’s needs. We don’t double book, so when you book, the whole property is yours to enjoy! The river is a great for swimming in July/August. Before this date, it’s too deep. The Little House

Our guests rave about the view from the front deck and the visits from the woodland animals. Indoors you will have plenty of space to sit and play games, read a book or just relax. The well appointed open kitchen makes meal prep a breeze. And don't forget about the soaking tubs after a long day of hiking or skiing. We are only 30 minutes from Schweitzer ski resort and Silverwood Theme Park and 10 minutes from Sandpoint. So much so close....skiing, hunting, kayaking, hiking and great dining!

1969 Caboose

Spend some time in this meticulously restored 1969 Burlington Northern/Northern Pacific Caboose. It has been restored to resemble a luxury Pullman car from the 1930s complete with custom wood work. It sits on 10 acres in a very remote and quiet setting. The Caboose you are about to stay in was built in May of 1969 by the Northern Pacific Railroad in Brainerd, MN Number 10409. In 1970, Burlington Northern bought out Northern Pacific and our caboose was repainted and re-numbered 10040.

Just 15 min to Sandpoint, ID (5 min by boat) and 35 min to Schweitzer Ski Resort. After a day of skiing on the mountain, or playing on the lake, you can enjoy the covered hot tub and soak in the sunset and view.

The apartment is stand-alone meaning no issues with loud neighbors above or below you. We live next door in the main house, so should an issue or need arise, we got your back.
