The chalet is fully insulated with reverse cycle AC and a wood fire (one night complimentary firewood). Bookings of more than two people will have access to the second bedroom.

Our property has been lovingly, restored, with a difference. We have one bedroom located off the front verandah and one bedroom accessible from the back entry and two bedrooms within the home, great for two families, giving people their own space. Surrounded by 74 acres, only 5 minutes from Albany CBD. There is a large farmhouse kitchen, beautifully furnished areas. On balmy nights you can huddle around a cosy fire pit under the stars roasting marshmallows and relaxing with a glass of wine

Djodjal - Bush Retreat

Welcome, we would like to invite you to enjoy a stay at our quiet, secluded bush retreat hidden away in the dairy farmlands of the West Australia's south coast. We are perfectly situated halfway between Albany and Denmark and 10 mins from the famous white sandy beaches of Cosy Corner. Our home is located on a 13 acre bush block with abundant birdlife; including Djodjal (Blue Wrens) and Ngoolya (White Tailed Black Cockatoos). We have an outdoor fire pit and BBQ area to sit and relax around.

stableBASE is a sunny, architect-designed wing of our home, just a short drive from Albany’s centre, beaches, scenic walks, and National Parks. Lights Cottage is a secluded, newly renovated heritage cottage located on Lights Beach Farm. Wake up in the mornings surrounded by cattle, kangaroos, and native birds. Then pack your cup, walk across the road to Monkey Rock and have your morning sunrise coffee overlooking Lights Beach, Ocean Beach, and William Bay. Explore 300 acres of farmland and walk the Bibbulmun Track, which conveniently runs through the property and down to the back beach cliffline.

Ideal for launching your dingy. 5 mins from town, 5 mins from beach, 2 bed both with( open )ensuite, one with double bath (no shower) one with shower. ideal for adults. Surrounded by beautiful scenic walks through the karri forests on inlet. See the wild life from large decking area. ( Not suitable for unsupervised children as it has a high decking and the house is built on granite )
