Escape to the beauty of Coniston in our charming self-catering cottage & indulge in an enchanting getaway. Tucked away on a peaceful lane with breathtaking lake views, it’s the perfect retreat for 4 people, and pets are welcome too! Just a short stroll to cosy pubs for great food and drinks, all dog friendly. We offer part-week stays Nov–March (Fri–Mon or Mon–Fri), with Friday check-in's only from March–Nov. Magical, grade II listed 18th century traditional Lakeland cottage set within 5 acres of woodlands, leading directly to 2 private beaches on Lake Windermere. Relax in a peaceful, natural environment, ideal for friends, families, wild swimmers, cyclists, paddle boarders, hikers and for cosy evenings by the fireplace. Separately charged are a luxurious hot tub, perfect after a hard days hike and a wood fired barrel sauna with cold shower. A tuck shop, art classes and treatments are also available.

Set within its own private garden on our working fell farm, Robinson Place Cottage supplies breathtaking views of the Langdale Pikes, Bow fell, Lingmoor and more, right from the doorstep. A private driveway set back from the road offers a tranquil and picturesque location for any type of stay; inspirational work retreat or family holiday.

Our house is close to the centre of Coniston village, 2 mins walk from the shops, pubs and restaurants and a short stroll down to the lake. The house has quality furniture and fittings, we've taken time over everything, the wood burning stove, comfy beds and the modern well equipped kitchen. There's beautiful landscapes throughout and some unique leaded glass by Sarah Lace. You can leave the car and walk everywhere if you wish. Our house is good for couples, families and one well behaved dog.

Low Brow - Barn conversion cottage in Coniston

Low Brow a split level detached barn conversion, close to the centre of Coniston. Leave the property and turn right for a short stroll down the hill into the village for shopping, pubs and cafes. Coniston Water is a 15 minute walk and is peaceful and picturesque for sailing and canoeing. Turn left as you leave the property and within minutes you are climbing Coniston Old Man. Ideal as a base for cycling. An elevated patio to the rear of the property offers fine lake views over Coniston Water.

You can enjoy lake views both during the day and star filled evenings whilst toasting the complimentary marshmallows. Private parking is provided adjacent to the pod, along with secure bike storage.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. A paradise for walkers. Coniston Old Man towers over the horizon and can be seen from within a short walk of the cottage. The cottage is very close to the sailing club. Coniston village is just a short distance away. The Ship, opposite the cottage, serves excellent food. Both bedrooms, the living room and the kitchen have stunning views of Lake Coniston. On a wet and cold day, you can stay in and enjoy the games and books in the cottage.

Beautiful old miners cottage with stunning views over the lake towards Grizedale forest. The cottage is perfectly located, perched just above Coniston village at the foot of the mountain. It's a short stroll down the hill to the village, with its many amenities, and to the lake. Walks up the Old Man of Coniston begin from outside the house. There is a stone patio with table and chairs at the front of the cottage with amazing views over the lake, village and surrounding hills.
