Our house sits at the bottom of a secret track in a private, historical cove on the beautiful Hebridean island of Lismore. Secluded, quiet and peaceful, Port Moluag is within easy reach of the Scottish mainland whilst feeling totally removed from the pace and noise of city life. The house is newly-built using eco technologies to limit its environmental impact and is surrounded by wonderful wildlife such as seals, otters, and a multitude of birds as well as many sites of historical interest.

The Tower

The Tower has recently been converted for use as a holiday let which was previously an unused ancillary building adjacent to The Water Works, an old water treatment plant near Bolsover, converted to domestic use in 2002 and featured on the Channel 4 programme Grand Designs. Nestled amongst the boulders in 5 acres at the top of Eagle Tor this beautifully hand crafted cabin is the ultimate romantic getaway. Relax and get back to nature in the gorgeous wood fired hot tub set on a boulder looking out across the valley, followed by an outdoor shower nestled amongst the rocks. In the cabin soak up the gorgeous 180 degree views from your cosy bed, not to mention the glass roof for star gazing! A covered outdoor kitchen/eating area and a firepit to toast marshmallows.

The Tower, Thornton Castle

Accessed by a spiral staircase your space comprises 2 bedrooms for 4 people over two floors in a private wing of the castle with bathroom and small sitting room. Full breakfast included. The Burrow is a ground floor luxury log cabin with exclusive use of private garden, patio and hot tub. The apartment is a 30 minute drive from the stunning North Coast attractions and a 45 minute drive from Belfast. The apartment is located 50m from our house so we are nearby to make your stay enjoyable.
