Groovy Cedar Chalet Forest View

Our retro inspired chalet offers a secluded forest setting with excellent access to convenient amenities! Our family-friendly space comfortably sleeps 6 guests. Each room has been thoughtfully appointed for your convenience and authentic aesthetic. The entire home is yours to use. The fully equipped kitchen and laundry room are a great bonus. On Sunny and rainy days alike- sip a fresh cup of coffee on the spacious front porch. An attached 3 car garage and driveway allows for ample parking.

The JoKo Cottage

Welcome to our cozy little cottage built in the early 1930’s by a then well-known artist, Joe Koch (JoKo was his artist name). Joe designed and built the cottage and is full of his unique style. It was featured in 1950 in The Akron Beacon Journal with lots of pictures! All of the wormy chestnut wood (wood with holes in it) is original to the cottage. Even the tile by the fireplace is original. In this place many beautiful things were created. We hope you find beauty here too!

A historic house in on 1.6 acres near the Cuyahoga Valley National Park in Brecksville, Ohio. 15 minutes to Cleveland, 15 minutes to Boston Mills/Brandywine ski resorts, and 20 min to Akron. .4 miles from route 77. This house is stocked with everything you need for your stay including a HE washer and dryer. Bathroom has a shower and a soaking tub. Lots of large windows and natural light in this house. Outside there is a large deck and patio to relax and enjoy the outdoors!

We are a cottage like residence in one of the few small towns between the cities of Cleveland and Akron, Ohio; right down the road from Michael Angelo's Winery and not far from the beautiful Cuyahoga Valley National Park, Boston Mills + Brandywine Ski Resorts, and under an hour to the Pro Football Hall of Fame. The cottage is tucked a driveway away from our old farm house and century old barn. Enjoy this relaxing getaway!
