Secluded Stone Cabin w/ Wood-Fired Hot Tub

Peaceful retreat to unplug and unwind. This off‑the‑grid experience has no electricity or flushing toilets, we do provide the essentials: running hot water, an outhouse, and propane lighting. Stay includes access to a handcrafted, wood‑fired hot. (Tub is still under construction. Landscaping and some final details are not finished.) Four-wheel-drive, or high-profile two-wheel drive vehicles are needed to get to the cabin. We must greet guests at arrival to show you how to use the propane lights.

Of course, there is always more to explore in the area as well; including the Black River, which is just a short hike away.

The Ranch House cabin (2020)at Old Desperado Ranch has a rustic western cowboy theme. The stone fireplace (electric) was hand made with local rocks from the creeks and rivers. The two bedroom cabin is very spacious and is equipped with everything you will need for your stay. Just bring your food! The cabin is dog friendly, see pet policy. Fullsized fridge with freezer, electric cookstove with oven,big screen TV with netflix, Hulu, etc. New Serta mattress, new hardwood floor, Fast WiFi, Close to town but no neighbors, private entrance. Close to the highway, Off road parking space close to the door. Well mannered pets welcome, ill mannered humans not so much.
