Only 12 minutes from downtown Chico, the farmers market, restaurants, and Chico State, yet perched 1,000 feet above the valley floor on scenic Highway 32. Enjoy a peaceful mountain retreat with city views, nature, and starlit nights. Our owner lives on-site and is chemical and fragrance sensitive. We use natural cleaning products and soaps. This private cabin is located within our 21-acre property, which includes several private rental accommodations. Shared amenities vary by listing.

This cottage was completely remodeled in 2020. It sits on the back of our property and backs up to an orchard. The property is over an acre. It is quiet and peaceful. You will find fruit trees, grapes, a garden and chickens. The chickens roam the property during the day. There is a covered patio and fire pit to enjoy the evenings in Chico. If you like to cook outdoors there is a gas BBQ & pellet grill/smoker. It is 1.8 miles from Chico State and Downtown.

Historic Home in Downtown for a Couple or Group

In the heart of historic downtown Oroville, Judge Gray's home (est. 1875), offers four suites (each w/ private bathroom and shower), kitchen, dining room, parlor, office & laundry. A couple or group of eight adults (no children) can enjoy the house while exploring the beauty and history of Butte County. One suite per guest (two guests maximum per suite.) Unbooked suites will be locked to keep the cleaning fee affordable for smaller groups.

We are located on the edge of college town, about a mile from downtown, and close to iconic Chico locations (Bidwell Park, Bidwell Mansion, various music and theater venues, local dining and coffee shops, and more). Excellent hiking, biking, bird watching; outstanding dining and shopping; world class university; music and theater; all nearby.
