Welcome to our serene retreat nestled in the charming town of Caerwys, North Wales. This spacious 1 bedroom cottage, plus a sofa bed in the living room provides opportunity for up to 4 people to stay. It's a perfect blend of comfort and relaxation. Our property promises a delightful experience combining modern amenities with scenic surroundings for a tranquil getaway. Tyn y Coed is an authenitc detached Welsh cottage, set in the Clwydian Range AONB with mountain views. The property is rurally located in the village of Cwm but just a stone’s throw from any amenities you might need during your break, such as being just a short walk from the local pub and restaurant, The Blue Lion. With a cosy wood-burner in the living area, you can either stay in and admire the views or explore the many nearby walks, including the Offa’s Dyke footpath which passes close by.

Explore country lanes from the doorstep or we are only a mile from the sea and a welcoming base to explore North Wales from or just stay in and relax.

A perfect base for exploring the North Wales Coast. A cosy and comfortable place to return to at the end of the day. It has wifi, good quality beds and bedding and a full bathroom, with lots of towels! The Point of Ayr Nature reserve is 5 minutes away, Talacre sand dunes and lighthouse, then Prestatyn further along the coast. Ffynnongroew was a mining village, with 2 pubs a few minutes walk away, along with a take away, Post Office and small convenience store. DOGS ALLOWED, NO CATS.

An excellent pub/restaurant, The Dinorben Arms, offers real ales and great food, just a 15 minute walk away. Convenient location for local walks on the hills, along the river or Offas Dyke path. Outdoor pursuits and many other activities are available in the Snowdonia National Park and along the beautiful North Wales Coast.
