Local cultural attractions include Glyndebourne, Drusilla's Park, South Downs Way. This spacious artist's home is located right on the South Downs Way, and it is only about an hour and a half walk to the coast at Exceat. There is a tree house for kids, a couple of swing seats for chilling out on, and the Cuckmere runs through the bottom of the garden.

Camber's sandy beaches and dunes are an easy walk/cycle/drive away. A High Street full of independent shops, restaurants, inns, art galleries, Kino cinema, Rye Spa Retreat, tea rooms are round the cobbly corner.

Barefoot Beach House

Awesome weather boarded beach house on the stunning sandy beach at Camber, East Sussex, under 2 hours from London. Enjoy barefoot beach living in a gorgeous house where the beach is your front garden. Up to two well behaved dogs welcome at £35 per dog per stay. Dogs have free run of the entire beach from October to May. Between May and September you will need to walk 50 metres along from the house to reach the dog friendly section of beach.
