Oak Framed Home with Countryside Views & Hot Tub

Get back in touch with nature at this luxury cabin nestled in a quiet hamlet. Find tranquility on the terrace surrounded by breathtaking views, or lounge amid thoughtful decor and chic modern finishes in the exposed oak beam interior. Blue Vale is brand new as of June 2018! We helped to design this green oak framed building and have been involved in the whole process of building it, doing much of it ourselves. For our colour scheme we have used different shades of blue throughout, playing on the name of Blue Vale. The furnishing and finishing touches are of a high standard to help promote a comfortable and luxurious finish. There is an eclectic style combining modern country with industrial finishes. Luxury, high thread cotton bedding and towels, large flat screen smart tv's and luxury Neals Yard toiletries help to give the top-end finishing touches we would appreciate if we stayed away from home. Blue Vale is completely self contained but sits in the grounds of our family home. The decked outdoor living space is screened by trellis on the garden side with fields on the other. You would be very welcome to walk around our garden. We can be as interactive as you wish. With living in the same grounds we are close at hand if needed. We will welcome you when you arrive but will be respectful of your privacy. The glorious Blackmore Vale landscape is a tapestry of farmed green fields with a sprinkling of English villages, of which Sandley is one. Walk out (or cycle, using our available bikes) onto country lanes and venture along a web of footpaths to discover this unspoilt part of Dorset. Visit Stourhead, stroll around the ancient towns of Sherborne or Shaftesbury or discover the beautiful Jurassic coast. Visit Longleat safari park, Haynes Motor Museum, Monkey world & Yeovilton Air Museum. Sandley is a quiet hamlet with the neighbouring village of Buckhorn Weston just a mile away. The Stapleton Arms pub can be found here. We are 10 minutes away from the towns of Gillingham and Wincanton where various supermarkets, shops and services are. There is a train station in Gillingham which has a direct route to London in less than 2 hours. The larger cities of Bath and Salisbury are less than an hours drive and it takes around an hour to drive to the beautiful Jurassic coastline. The historic towns of Shaftesbury and Sherborne are only 15 and 20 minutes away respectively. The quiet rural roads and bridleways of the Blackmore Vale are excellent for cycling and walking. Blue Vale is in the grounds of our family home. There is a one- bedroomed B&B facility on the ground floor of our home.

Situated in the idyllic village of Bromham within walking distance of the local pub, this is a convenient base for attending events at Bowood House. Lacock Abbey, Avebury and Stonehenge are nearby, and a wide range of shops, restaurants and bars are available a short drive away in Devizes, Marlborough and Bath. Ideal if you’re looking for a peaceful and relaxing countryside stay.

Owl cabin is a peaceful & cosy retreat, situated in our garden next to our house on the edge of our woodland, a haven for deer, badgers & owls. From the veranda you can watch our free-range ducks & chickens, buzzards & red kites thermalling over the valley & horses coming and going. There is a private, woodland garden with a wood fired hot tub to enjoy the views or gaze at the stars. There are lots of lovely walks including across the fields to the local pub and Bath is only 15-20 mins by car.

You will immediately feel relaxed as you immerse yourself in the surrounding nature. Lounging chairs on the decking provide the perfect place for your morning coffee listening to the birds sing and soak away your stress in the wood fired hot tub then cosy up in front of the log burner and enjoy the tranquility of the woodland.

Cosy Bluebell Pod - Eastwood Glamping

Bluebell Pod is our couples pod, with a double bed and pull out sofa, dining table, living space and a romantic outdoor bathtub with fantastic lake views and views of the farm. Our self catering pods have a kitchenette with induction hobs and a microwave. We also have outdoor seating and a private BBQ for an al-fresco dining experience. Each pod has luxurious décor selected with extra comfort in mind. Near Thornbury, Bristol where you will find lots shops and restaurants.

The Cabin

A rustic, secluded self contained Cabin beside a lake, set in the heart of rural Wiltshire. Take yourself back to nature and enjoy far reaching views in this peaceful off-grid setting. Enjoy stargazing around the fire pit and snuggle down in front of the log burner. We're veggies here so we ask that no meat is cooked on the premises, this includes inside the cabin itself as well as in the South Barn space. There is a good outdoor bbq for meat lovers though! Spring Cabin

Tucked away in a remote spot over looking the Golden Valley , this peaceful retreat is the ideal place for your weekend getaway . Only 2 hours from London Spring Cabin is quiet and secluded with the countryside on your doorstep. The cabin is attached to the hosts property so is not entirely self contained but has a fridge , toaster and kettle for your basic needs . There is an outside lounge area with barbeque and fire pit for romantic evenings watching the stars .

Rutters Garden Cabin

Cabin set in delightful rural Wiltshire. Great for a cosy weekend away, to work, visit family or just to enjoy beautiful Wiltshire. Close to the house, but not overlooked. Set in our lovely garden on a no through road, just outside of town. Well equipped kitchen and smart TV & WiFi Free off road parking. If you are into wild swimming or paddle boarding, we are 45 mins away from lake 32. Adults only, we are unable to cater for infants, children or pets.

Squirrels Drey

A private hideaway in the Cotswolds, made for slow mornings and hot tub nights. Squirrels Drey is one of four pods on site with plush interiors, a private hot tub, smart TV and high-end touches throughout. Outside, there’s a sauna, fire pit, BBQs and a pizza oven to share. One well-behaved dog is welcome. Design-led and quietly indulgent - this is a peaceful escape where comfort takes centre stage.

Holders Cabin

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful location in the heart of the Forest of Dean. With beautiful scenery, its a great spot to connect with nature. There is something for everyone, abundance of cycle trails on your doorstep with direct access to the forest and the River Wye not too far away. You will have every chance to observe wildlife in their natural surroundings.
