This newly refurbished cottage has interiors designed by a local, proffesssional interior designer giving it a cosy, stylish ambiance further enhanced by the log burning stove and luxury furnishings. The south facing cottage gives a light airy feel throughout and has a small outside space for drinks and dining.

At '235' you will have your own private space to enjoy day or night. The comfortable sofa bed can be made up ready for your arrival or left as a sofa for you to relax. We have created a luxury suite, comprising of a comfortable and spacious lounge, double bedroom and bathroom. within our home. The lounge includes sofas, table, lamps, coat stand. Upstairs a standard double bedroom with an adjoining shower room. This space is separated by an internal door. Our rental are rooms in our home Our home is in the beautiful Galloway landscape, just a few hundred yards from Loch Ken and very accessible to the many outdoor activities that Galloway has to offer

Bookings are from Friday to Friday. 2 king size bedrooms, one ensuite with a further 2 single beds and wc on the mezzanine level. A bathroom with shower over the bath. Fully furnished kitchen with washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher. We have a dog secure garden and a shed to lock bikes in. We are between 10/30 mins from 3 of the 7stanes cycling trails and 6 miles from several beaches or hills for walking. You are 5 mins drive away from the market town of Castle Douglas.

Welcome to our idyllic riverside cottage. Nestled in the picturesque Dumfries & Galloway countryside and set on the banks of Cairn Water. The area is rich with wildlife. Red squirrel, deer, kingfisher, woodpecker, red kite, buzzard and otter are just a few of the local visitors spotted from our garden. Stepford Station Cottage is the perfect cosy retreat for nature lovers. We welcome up to 2 well behaved dogs at no extra fee.

Dumfries and Galloway is a part of Southern Scotland often overlooked by those heading North to the Highlands. It retains a slow old fashioned character and is a hub for arts and crafts as well as having many lovely beaches, pubs and restaurants. Our cottage is just the thing for getting away from modern life and relaxing. Exceptionally quiet and peaceful with gorgeous views, great walks etc. Dogs are welcome
