Wigloo is an incredible iconic mountain chalet located 5 miles west of Donner Summit. A short walk to the Loch Leven Lakes trailhead. This beauty has lots of charm and history that will make it an experience you will never forget! Very private, but has great access to several local ski areas and the historical town of Truckee and Donner Lake. We are 15 mins to Donner Lake and Truckee and just a bit further is spectacular Lake Tahoe. Donner Summit area has some of the finest skiing in the world, it's an ideal location as your base for hitting the slopes. Locally -Soda Springs Resort, Donner Ski Ranch, Royal Gorge, Sugar Bowl and Boreal. Squaw Valley and Alpine and Northstar are half an hour away

Our mountain cabin is the perfect family retreat! Each room has the space and amenities you need for dining, recreation, and relaxation. From the fully-equipped kitchen, to the pool/ping pong table, to the large sofa in front of the expansive fireplace, we're confident you'll have all comforts you need to enjoy your stay. The backyard provides 1.5 acres of space to roam with a large grassy area, a stone patio, and a wrap-around deck. In the winter there is snow play and sledding in the area.
