Situated down a long dirt road, in one of Nova Scotia's most bucolic areas, this beautiful retreat is rustic and completely off-grid. No cell service or electricity. A chance to breathe, explore and be in nature (with some creature comforts like flush toilet hot shower in your cabin!) Birchdale is a unique property dotted with 18 Cabins. Come relax at our two-bedroom lakefront cottage on Boarsback Lake. A tranquil getaway with just the right mix of lake, relaxation, sunsets, and campfires . An amazing place for a romantic couple’s getaway, family time or a solo adventurer/traveler. Large master bedroom with a king size bed, and a double bed in our cozy second bedroom. The modern kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, stove, dishwasher, Keurig and BBQ. Guests have access to two kayaks, a paddle board and pool noodles.

For your added pleasure is a six man, hot tub, nestled in the woods under a beautiful gazebo - shared with one (2 person) cottage. Free use of kayaks, paddle boards, mountain bikes, swim in the lake, or enjoy leisure walks.
