We have been told by people that driving the road to our farm feels like going back in time. We are located on a small narrow lane (boreen). Our beautiful farmyard is surrounded by magnificent dry stone walls that divide field boundaries and give you the link between past and present. Features include 3 murders holes and a dungeon The castle was built by the DeBurgo family (approximately 1480). It had the distinction of being shelled by the British Gunboat ” Helga” during the1916 Rising to disband rebels
