This home offers a comfy, cozy environment making it perfect for a getaway or your home away from home while on business. BONUS - If you are a "pet parent" and love to travel with your 4-legged child you will love the fact that the front door has a "doggy door" making it easy to go outside, which is fully fenced and safe. Guests have a private garage (with opener) which allows direct access for parking your car and going up the stairs to your vacation (or work) oasis. Guests have access to a fully fenced outside area with table, umbrella and chairs. This area is perfect if you like to sit outside and enjoy your coffee. And if you are a "pet parent" this is where the doggy door allows your "child" to go. Our property is a two-on-one and we live in the front house. The homes are separated by a courtyard that is fully enclosed via fencing, which we use. We will be present during our guests stay so we are happy to assist any way possible to provide our guests with a great and enjoyable experience. In Belmont Heights everything is within walking distance, and all the homes have charm and character. It is a lovely, quiet, and friendly neighborhood. The area's long-time feral parrots serve as mascots and add to the vibrant feel. It's easy to get around. We very centrally located between LA and The OC. NOTE*** If your car is too large to fit in the garage (typically this is a large SUV, truck, or vintage automobile) PLEASE park behind the garage without blocking the other garage. There is plenty of room behind garage for a large truck to park there and still have room to open the other garage, which is our personal garage that we (Jim and Susan) use. If parking behind garage do NOT leave anything in your vehicle overnight. Even though this is a very safe and quiet neighborhood do NOT leave anything visible, just for good measure and common safety.

Custom Craftsman With Hot Tub Close to Ocean

Pass through the electronic gate and private entrance and indulge in the complimentary snacks on the fold-out leaf table. Fine interior touches include antique heirloom artwork and a serving tray, while outside 2-level seating and a fire pit await. We follow rigorous cleaning and sanitizing protocols from the CDC during COVID-19. We ventilate rooms, wash hands frequently, wear gloves, clean, then disinfect with bleach or 70% alcohol. Our cleaning crew focuses on frequently touches surfaces, incl light switches, doorknobs, remote controls, and faucets, and wash all linens at highest heat. Attention to detail prevails throughout the apartment. The craftsman style space includes custom cabinets, high/vaulted ceilings, granite counter tops and walk-in closet. Established trees can be viewed from the master bedroom picture window and private deck which gives the space a tree house effect. The space can comfortably fit up to 4 guests. We will provide a variety of organic breakfast items including coffee, orange juice, milk, cream, half & half, cereal, fruit, yogurt and breads/pastries. Wine will be available upon request. Guests have an electronic gate and their own private entrance.Guests have access to their own deck, complete kitchen and laundry facilities. Interaction with guests will be kept to a minimum in order to respect their privacy, however, we will be happy to assist any way possible to provide a great experience. We live in a separate location on site so we will be present during the guests stay. We love our neighborhood! There are parks, the Colorado Lagoon, Marine Stadium, 2nd Street with shops and great restaurants, and of course the beach all within walking distance. There are a variety of farmer's markets and in the summer local concerts in the park. There is public transportation (buses) nearby. There is plenty of street parking. This Spanish-style guest house is located behind the front house fuses traditional elements of terracotta tiles and colorful artwork with a chic white interior and darker wood fixtures. Unwind on the sunny back patio with a cup of coffee or refreshing beverage. Front patio pictured helps our guests find the guest house, which is behind the front house. Just steps away from the beach and bustling shops, cafes and eateries on 2nd Street. The unit is beautifully decorated and appointed. Dishes, glassware and flatware included. Located behind a house with side entrance. Very private. Steps to beach, bay, bike and pedestrian path, 2nd Street and Naples. Will add additional photos shortly. Backyard and propane grill. Foot shower, outdoor sink, seating area, etc. We spend time in CA and stay in the house located on the front of the property. We are available to assist you as needed. Love the access to restaurants, shops, grocery store, beach and bay. Amazing walking area! Fabulous free events year round - music, art, children's events, food and beverage festivals, etc. You do not need a car. Long Beach transit system is excellent. Buses can be accessed on 2nd street (half a block away) and water taxi is available from the Granada Boat Launch (on Ocean Avenue). Favorite Restaurants: Casual: Simzy's, Tavern on 2, Michaels Pizzeria (Naples), Taco Surf, Super Mex, Angelo's Deli, Chucks on Ocean (for Breakfast), Baja Fish Tacos (opening in September).
