Situated in the grounds of the owner’s working farm, who are on hand to offer advice on the local area, the cottages are in an excellent central location on the Tipperary/Offaly border, almost equidistant from the picturesque town of Birr, 7½km, and one of the oldest towns in Ireland, Roscrea, 6km, and a 2km drive from Gloster house and wedding venue.

Located 5 minutes from heritage town Abbeyleix in co. Laois is Villa Jokubas a log cabin village set on a hill overlooking surrounding countryside. All our cabins combine modern finishes and rustic county charms. Be treated with all modern luxuries inside and outside, enjoy expansive yard, covered patio areas with private modern hot tubs, "Kamado" BBQ grills, fully stocked bar with taps of our home brewed IPA beer. This semi off grid yurt is designed to provide you with comfort. The yurt is attached to a private kitchenette and a small bathroom with hot shower and a toilet. Inside the yurt, you will sleep in a very comfortable double bed with a warm duvet and a cozy stove.

The house is situated down a private drive and guests will have exclusive access to the 2 acre walled garden and be able to stroll the 20 acres of grounds that surround the house.

We are conveniently located, only 3 km's from Junction 26 on the M7 motorway. The self catering apartment is located over the garage and separate from the main house with its own private entrance and is accessed by stairs. There are lots of activities to enjoy in the area, hiking, kayaking and various other water sports. There are many excellent golf courses close by.
