A charming, and beautiful cottage set within a courtyard in an idyllic ten acre woodland location. The cottage is every inch the beautiful setting for a romantic break away. The outside area of the cottage includes a raised platform & fire pit for your own use. Whilst it appears to be set in a remote rural location, it is in fact incredibly well-situated to be able to visit local attractions whilst being easily accessible from the main road: A1M . “A hidden gem definitely worth staying here!”

Luxury Pod with Jacuzzi Hot Tub

Derecroft Glamping Luxury Lodgepods sit on a hilltop near the village of Lanchester, with spectacular views across County Durham countryside. Breath-taking views of Durham Valley farmland can be spied from all the windows of the ultra-spacious pods. Each sleeps up to four people in total comfort, with hot showers in the en-suite bathroom (bed linen, towels, bathroom products, robes and slippers are all provided). In the dining and seating area, there’s ample space for chilled downtime.

Secluded shepherd's hut, in rural Northumberland

Our beautiful shepherd's hut sits in four acres of secluded woodland in rural Hexhamshire. Enjoy the peaceful solitude, with glimpsed views through the mature oaks onto the North Pennines. Surrounded by miles of footpaths, bridleways and moorland, there are walking, cycling and riding options in every direction. Nearby rural pubs offer delicious local ales and fantastic food. Or cook up something tasty over the firepit grill, then enjoy a drink on the raised deck in the evening sun.

The Lake House

The detached Lake House is set in 11 acres. Ravensworth is an enchanting village with many of the houses dating from the 17th century. The village is defined by its green, and ancient ruined castle, only a few miles from the pretty towns of Richmond and Barnard Castle . A village pub and two wonderful farm shop cafes within walking distance. The Lake House has uninterrupted views of the lake and surrounding woodland. The Lake House can also be booked together with Willow Cottage.

Charlie’s Woodland Hut

Charlie’s Hut sits in the heart of our woodland offering immersive sounds of wildlife, privacy and a relaxing experience. From the luxury of the cosy cabin, you can enjoy a dining experience inside the Hut or step outside and dine amongst the nature of the woodland. Enjoy a BBQ / Fire pit in the summer air or take comfort during the colder months. Charlie’s Hut is a spa suite in the woods, featuring a Hot Tub with cover, an outdoor bath which can also be used as a cold plunge.

Laburnum Cottage, Middlestone.

Welcome to Laburnum Cottage, Middlestone. A beautiful hidden gem, perfect for a luxurious romantic retreat with cosy wood-burning stoves, a magnificent superking four poster bed and a relaxing hot tub. Laburnum Cottage is nestled away in the quiet and peaceful village of Middlestone and has been renovated to the highest of standards The cottage is perfectly placed to explore the countryside and surrounding area. Ideal for ramblers, cyclists and walkers of all abilities.

Flora is a luxury bespoke built Shepherd's hut measuring a very generous 21ft x 9.5ft. Stylish modern interiors with super comfy king size bed and Hypnos mattress. Grange Cottage

The Grange is a very large cottage which can now sleep up to 11 people in four bedrooms. Over the last few months, we have done a lot of work to upgrade this cottage. We have replaced the main bathroom, and fitted a new kitchen (now with a dishwasher !!) Originally, this was 2 cottages, and we have now repurposed the second living room to be another double bedroom. If you have a large group of people, there is another table and more chairs in the cottage.

Shepherd’s hut & hot tub, Yorkshire smallholding

Luxury, romantic, boutique shepherd's hut on a smallholding in between the villages of Barton and Middleton Tyas near Richmond, North Yorkshire. We only have one hut, making it a very private, peaceful and exclusive retreat. Nestled in a beautiful dell, surrounded by trees, it overlooks a duck pond and the remains of the old stone limekilns. Plenty of wildlife for nature lovers including a flock of friendly rare breed sheep, hens, rabbits, and owls.

The lodge is extremely cosy with impressive countryside views. Hot tub and other extras can be added onto booking (see additional notes) It has a fully equipped kitchen and open plan living space that opens onto private decking with wood fired hot tub, outdoor shower (summer months only July and August) , al fresco dining, BBQ and firepit. There is an extremely large comfy king bed on the mezzanine with en-suite /shower.
