Mountain Lake House [Kayaks & Paddleboards]

Welcome to PaddleFin! You will enjoy the beautiful lake and mountain views from the large deck on the house and a deck close to the water. This is a peaceful retreat - cell phone service is not available or very limited, no Wi-Fi, and no TV service. We allow A MAXIMUM of 4 guests! There is one king bed and one queen bed. We currently have two kayaks (one single and one two-person), two paddleboards, and a canoe available for use by our guests. Paddles and life jackets are included.

Wounded Warrior Cabin at Grey Valley

The Wounded Warrior Cabin is located near the "Tail of the Dragon," Cherokee NC, NOC, Fontana Village and many other family-friendly activities. A trout stream runs along the front of the cabin and overlooks the mountains. There are 3 large bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, a game room, wrap around porch, and laundry room. It is close to Lake Santeetlah, making this cabin a perfect getaway for couples, solo adventures, business travelers, families w/kids, large groups and is dogs friendly.

Happy Valley Chalet borders the Smoky Mountains and is within 2 miles of the thrilling road the Tail of the Dragon. IF it's the national park with all its wonders that you want to experience or ride the famous Tail of the Dragon, this is the perfect place for you! The cabin is equipped with linens/towels and most everything you need to cook a meal., just bring groceries and personal items. This cabin is also handicap accessible. WIFI is now available. Cozy vintage cabin on beautiful Lake Santeetlah. Enjoy the water views from the screened in porch, dip your feet in the clear lake on the private dock, or take a kayak out to explore the coastline. In cooler weather, snuggle up by the fire with a good book. Lake Santeetlah is nestled in the mountains of NC, and 80% of the coastline is national forest. We are located 5 minutes from the entrance to the Foothills Parkway, 15 minutes from the Townsend entrance to the Smoky Mountain National Park, 45 minutes from Dollywood, and 50 minutes to Gatlinburg. IMPORTANT TO NOTE: STRICT NO SMOKING POLICY INSIDE OR OUT / SMOKING WILL RESULT IN A $250 CLEANING FINE

Private lake available for use less than a mile away. Fire pit and huge deck plus porch also available. Important notes: jacuzzi tub is high and not appropriate for anyone with mobility issues (there is no shower). Kitchenette only.
