Two double beds and one queen), fully equipped kitchen, living room, sitting area in one bedroom & outdoor living area, as well as a front porch, 3 tv s with Roku. It is minutes away from the Hiwassee River, as well as the Hiwassee Railway Excursion, Mennonite Market, & Wedding Venues. Whitewater Rafting on the Ocoee River & Hiwassee River within minutes from this location. Great house for those visiting or working!

Starr Mountain Cabin

Highlighted by the beautiful backdrop of the Starr Mountain Range, this cabin is the ultimate getaway for the whole family. Located on a family farm, it is not uncommon to look out of the window and see horses, cows, or goats peacefully grazing. The Cherokee Forest is only five minutes away offering hiking, picnic areas, and playgrounds and the Hiwassee River for endless recreation like fishing, kayaking, and tubing. The Tennessee Valley Railroad runs nearby as well and offers scenic day trips.

Located in a quiet farming community, this renovated horse barn features two comfortable bedrooms, kitchen, bath and laundry rooms, expansive porches, grill, gazebo and fire pit. Bring your kayaks, rods & reels, hiking boots or a good book and enjoy what nature has to offer. Minutes to Hiwassee and Ocoee rivers.

Gypsy Haven

Gypsy Haven is nestled at the foot of the Bean mountain, right between the Hiwassee and Ocoee Rivers. We are only 15 mins from The Ocoee & Hiwassee Rivers, 19 miles to Cleveland, & about a 45 minute drive to Chattanooga. Enjoy white water rafting, fly fishing, mountain climbing, zip lining, horse back riding and more all within a short drive. You also have access to feed our sweet mules & Sir Spits a lot the alpaca! Note this is a guest house/ loft above our garage so you do walk up stairs.

Cozy Cottage on Peacock Farm

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis minutes away from Downtown Athens and Tennessee Wesleyan University. Attractions in Knoxville, Chattanooga and the Hiwassee and Ocoee Rivers are less than an hour away. Only a little further to Dollywood and Gatlinburg for any tourist activity you can imagine. The cottage offers a kitchen, queen size bed, TV, DVD player, and washer/ dryer. *Currently working on getting wifi in the cabin and there are not any actual peacocks on the farm.

If you are looking for a get-away experience with a beautiful mountain backdrop, this is it. Nestled into 300+ private acres of cattle land and woods, our cabin overlooks rolling pastures and the Blue Ridge Mountains. Plenty of adventures are nearby too - world-class white-water rafting on the Ocoee River, or for a quieter adventure, try fly-fishing or tubing down the Hiwassee River. And as this is a working cattle farm, premium beef is usually available for purchase while you're here.

Riverstone cabin- Mist in the Hiwassee Gorge

A cozy camping cabin nestled in a beautiful grove of trees and only steps away from Gee Creek. Bordering Cherokee N.F & Hiwassee/Ocoee State Park, this little nest is your basecamp. Endless outdoor adventures await you. If a more chill weekend is what your looking for, then hit up the local Mennonite Market & Winery. Queen log bed & gear storage area attached. Only a short walk down the pebbled path to the bathhouse, outdoor kitchen sink, & coffee bar. WIFI in the cabin & outside.

School bus conversion on peaceful homestead

Come recharge in our rustic converted school bus on our small homestead. Experience “off the grid” with limited cell service and composting toilet! We raise sheep, pigs, and chickens on our regenerative farm. A short drive to Etowah. We are tucked away down a long gravel driveway. There is a composting toilet inside and outdoor shower. The bus has a mini fridge and toaster oven. Folks over 6 feet tall will have to duck. Oven temporarily out of order. Very warm in summer!
