Peaceful, Lakefront Cottage

Our simple, unique (octagonal) cottage is ready for you to enjoy as you take in the serenity of Lake Murray! Have a meal on the spacious deck, go swimming/fishing from the dock, or just relax and observe the many fish, turtles and birds that live in this quiet cove. Our boat is on one side of the dock, and you’re welcome to use the other side for yours. There is a public boat ramp less than a mile away. Siesta Cove is the next cove over and has a general store and gas pumps for your boat.

From sunrise to sunset this home is perfect for that relaxing get away; a private beach is steps from your door, a dock to fish from, boat ramp to launch your lake toys, quite cove with beautiful wild life! As the owners we live in the upstairs of the home (completely securely separated) and are available if you need anything! We enjoy sharing this beautiful home with others! Please note the beach, dock and lake are shared spaces.

10 Mile View on Lake Murray w/ Dock and Ramp

Enjoy our Waterfront getaway on Lake Murray. It includes a private boat ramp, private dock, and over 600 sq ft deck across the entire lake front of the home. The front yard is large and perfect for cornhole, frisbee, and other activities. This cove is known for excellent kayaking, fishing, boating, and watersports. We have included 2 Kayaks and we work directly with a pontoon rental company if you would like a boat delivered. The .4 acre lot has plenty of parking for all guests.

Enjoy all Lake Murray has to offer during the day and return to this serene spot and relax around the fire pit. This cottage has a full kitchen and generously equipped coffee bar to enjoy each morning. King bed and Queen size sofa sleeper.

Unique Lake Murray Cabin With a Gorgeous View

Unique rustic cabin on a quiet cove of Lake Murray, a 500,000 acre lake in central South Carolina, perfect for fishing and all water sports. The cabin will sleep 4 adults or 2 adults and 3-4 children. The top loft bunk might be a bit claustrophobic for an adult. The doorways upstairs are low clearance, can be a head bumping hazard for anyone over 5'10 or so. Bed linens, bath and kitchen towels are provided. Lexington County License #2500880

Kick back and relax at The Westwood Backyard in Chapin SC! This new charming and cozy 3 Bedroom, 2 bathroom home adjacent to a new neighborhood with a wooded backyard is modern and well decorated. It is an ideal home for family vacation. Lake Murray, Timberlake country club, and Dreher Island State park are nearby. Restaurants, grocery stores, and local night spots, are close by. Columbiana mall is 20 min and Columbia is 25 min away!

Enjoy some R&R in our family-owned private cottage with plenty of outdoor activities and amenities, there is something for everyone! The cottage is located near the old Buffalo Creek Marina and Restaurant now called Martin’s Landing. It's just minutes away from Newberry and Chapin, about 10 minutes from Dreher Island State Park, and less than 5 minutes to the public boat launch. There is one queen bed and two twin beds with trundles.
