O'Rourkes Cottage Retreat Glenasmole

O'Rourkes cottage is situated in the picturesque valley of Glenasmole, nestled in the foothills of the Dublin mountains overlooking Dublin city. The cottage has 2 bedroom, sitting room and kitchen with a woodland garden. Ideally situated to enjoy the the Dublin Wicklow mountains . The cottage includes central heating, wood burning stove, cooker, electric shower. We are now operating a minimum two night stay. Please note, host can not be held responsible for lost or damaged personal property.

Secluded cabin on animal sanctuary

The cabin is situated at our home and small self funded vegan/vegetarian sanctuary on a hill, nestled in its own small wild nature garden and developing food forest of fruit, nuts and wild edibles. We have developed our whole site into a track system or otherwise known as Paradise paddock. Meet some of our rescue animals. Sit by the campfire and enjoy the views of the surrounding countryside. It's a great place to enjoy the peace and quiet of the Irish Midlands and surrounding counties.

Named the coolest place in Ireland by TimeOut, Stoneybatter has many great cafés, restaurants, pubs & shops, & is just a 20min walk from the city centre. This 2-bed cottage is available as a 1-bed space, & can accommodate 1-2 people. NB: this is my home & is only available on occasion. You may find some of my belongings, food & drinks here - some guests may prefer a space solely set up as a short-term rental. Also, a dog lives here, so may not be the best fit for those with allergies.

A beautiful traditional stone built barn converted into a contemporary/industrial/rustic living space with quirky touches. I'm proud to say my home was featured in Bad Sisters Season two (Grace's house) on Apple TV. It's a Coastal haven, sleeps two/ suitable for couple or single guest . Situated on its own beach, fall asleep to the song of the sea waves. Peaceful location, close to Dublin airport ( 20 mins drive) Dublin City centre 30 mins by train from Rush and Lusk station after 10 min bus journey. The bus to Dublin city is 1 hr 15 mins away..
