One of three private units on our 11-acre property. 5 miles from Lake Superior, you’ll be close to some of Minnesota’s top outdoor attractions, including: Gooseberry Falls (13 min), Split Rock Lighthouse (20 min), Gitchi-Gami State Trail. Whether you're hiking, sightseeing, biking, or simply relaxing by the fire, The Fireside offers the ideal base for your North Shore adventure.

Enjoy Duluth's best trails with Outdoor Sauna

Location is the key with this beautiful home! Nestled quietly in the woods on the base of Spirit Mountain. Walk out the back door and enjoy a multitude of things to do including mountain biking, down hill skiing, cross country skiing, snowmobiling, hiking, and much more. Across the street is the Munger Trail for those that prefer to bike and hike on pavement. The St. Louis River is located right down the road for boating, fishing, or kayaking. Lake Superior is within a short 10 minute drive.

Romantic Forest Cabin, Sauna, Trail to Beach

Treat yourself to a deluxe stay in this quiet, newly constructed cabin with picture windows, screened porch and barrel sauna. Enjoy long days and sunsets at Corny Beach, a 10 min walk from the cabin along a nature trail. Visit Bayfield 20 min away or take in the quirky, small-town of Cornucopia and then come home and take a sauna in this peaceful forest! The cabin has an occupancy limit of 2 adults and one dog ($50 pet fee). A SUP board is stored near the beach for guests in summer.

A small rural town with simple amenities is a half mile away or larger cities just 20+ miles away with outdoor activities galore. Our 80-foot bridge to a private island on a pond is a perfect setting to read a book or play cards with some friends. Our unique custom basement bar and surrounding intimate spaces will keep you at ease.

Beautiful house in the woods!

Upon your arrival to Buffalo Valley you will receive a warm welcome with an escort to your house by the host, in the beautiful north woods. At check in you will receive a key to the cabin. (Please note that the house capacity is 6 guests, no exceptions. We also have a NO pet policy.) There is a guide book that gives you all the information you will need. You will love how remote you are, yet so close to town. Enjoy the fire pit and sauna in the comforts of the wilderness!

Off Grid cabin, Cozy, warm up by the fire.

A unique, octagon, cedar log cabin, situated on 40 secluded wooded acres. A short hike over the Sucker River on a storybook foot bridge to a generous deck which surrounds the cabin. You will need to be physically fit to stay here. You must climb a steep ladder to the loft and do a 2ft step to get off the deck to the marshy land below for making a fire. Also bring a sense of adventure! Wildlife is very near. We do not allow animals or smoking of any kind, sorry.

Muskie Lake Cabin

Entire cottage to yourself with a magnificent lake view. We have 315 feet of lakeshore located on 4 acres on Island Lake. We have a private dock. Our 900 square ft cottage has a full kitchen, dining room, living room, two bedrooms, bathroom, and a couch that opens up into a bed. A fire pit is available, ( wood furnished), along with a canoe and 2 kayaks You can fish off the dock or bring your own boat. A pontoon boat is available for rent. We will except two dogs.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful and spacious home in Hermantown / Duluth, Minnesota. New wood-fire barrel sauna available for use. Fits 6 people. Centrally located minutes from Miller Hill Mall, Duluth Airport, and Local Restaurants. Thoughtfully remodeled, historic farm house with new amenities including Game Room, Fully Stocked Kitchen, and Washer/Dryer. Comfortably sleeps 6, but up to 10 guests can stay.
