Whare manu is a private, self contained boutique cottage that is solar powered. Set back into native bush with views of the sea and beach, which is only a minutes stroll away. Watch the Tui's and Bellbirds feed on the sculpted bird feeder right on the deck. Designed for couples to relax, unwind and enjoy. No children please. If you would like your stay to include the 24 Dec please contact us, we can open for you, there are no checkouts on 25 Dec & a min 2 night stay. This is a unique place.

Situated 10 mins from the township of Winton, central Southland. We are a sheep and crop farm, good views over the paddocks from the hut deck. All the basics you need, bed, chair, table, kitchen, bathroom and then your own outside eating area and bath on the deck under the veranda. Nearest town is Winton 10 mins away , with supermarket, choice of places to eat or takeaway. We are located in an old established part of town, but only a 5 minute walk to the Main Street of Te Anau and restaurants, and a 2 minute walk to the edge of the lake. Perfect for couples- our cottage is not suitable for children.

Beautiful lake view of Manapouri from this comfortable and funky little house. Everything you need for a luxurious stay plus extras including push bikes, and an outdoor hot tub to sit in under the stars. The "Lake to Lake" bike trail is across the road from the house, and Fraser's beach is just a few minutes walk on a good path. Quiet and peaceful. No added cleaning fee.
