The exceptional Merklands Wood Luxury Lodges each with hot tubs and log burning stoves. Aspen is one of two bespoke lodges which together provide for up to 12 people + 2 infants. Secluded in 20 acres of private woodland they are immersed in nature. Nestled in the foothills of the Pentland Hills on the edge of the Scottish Borders yet only 30 minutes from Edinburgh City Centre. Walking, cycling and hiking straight from the door. A fantastic place to spoil, yourself, your family and your friends.

Log Cabin in Auchtertool.

The Log Cabin is situated in 3 acres of garden, shared only with our own house. Guests are welcome to make use of the garden. The Cabin sleeps five people and we have a travel cot if required. There is one large bedroom with two kingsize and one single beds. The Cabin does not have TV or wifi, however it does have an excellent 4G signal. We welcome well behaved pets, up to a maximum of two small dogs or one large dog, even a cat. We ask guests who bring pets to vacuum before they leave.
