Close to the main highlights of the south coast and only 4km off the main road (road n°1). It is also a great location to see the northern lights, away from any light pollution. Thanks to it’s large windows, you can watch the northern lights while having dinner or from the warmth of your bed.

The large panoramic front window lets you enjoy nature right from the bed: stunning sunrises, Northern Lights and views of the river, mountains and volcano Hekla. The house has a modern and well-equipped kitchen and a comfortable bathroom. !!Starting mid-June, a brand-new Jacuzzi with massage function and lighting will offer even more comfort!!

Áskot Cottages offer self-catering vacation homes located on a Family run Horse Ranch in South Iceland. This property offers landscape views to Vestamannaeyjar, Eyjafjallajokull and view over a field with the farm´s horses. Urriðafoss Apartments is located in amazing nature, at the front of the waterfall Urriðafoss, that is located in the River Þjórsá in Southwest Iceland. The house was built 2018 and has a big windows so our guests can enjoy the view. The house is surrounded by beautiful wildlife at the summer time and the northern lights at the winter time. Urriðafoss Apartments is fully equipped with wifi, TV, combo washing machine and dryer, coffee machine, fridge, all necessary kitchen tools and hot tub.
