Welcome to Kyoto, the ancient capital of Japan! I promise this experience will open a whole new world to you!
This virtual trip to Kyoto will be composed of 2 different video contents.
One is 5-8 min HD videos that will makes you feel like really walking in the town, mostly in the classically holy places like shrines and temples. I'll tell you some legendary and historical stories and we'll discuss what Japanese believe in, that will makes you find a little happiness in your everyday life. You will be amazed with Hair comb grave mound, Revenge god, Pandemic god, Toilet god, the most instagrammable temple and 1400 year-old Buddhist tower.
The other is 30 of different short videos from Japanese everyday lives, not related to legendary or devin stories but more everyday like "Recent Kyoto downtown", "The sound of rain in the Zen temple", "Kimono studio", "Tokyo Rush Hour" etc..
And also I will share a lot my personal family stories, my family has been a rice farmer over 200 years in the northern countryside of Japan. Like what my grandma and grandpa told me when I was little that will help you understand Japanese mindset very well.

Wow, you learn so much about the Shinto religion and about Japanese culture in this tour. Plus we loved the addition of other videos of Japan.

Kentaro’s experience was lots of fun & very entertaining. I would definitely like to visit Kyoto after seeing some of the temples, cherry blossoms, & historic streets in Ken’s Experience. I particularly enjoyed his explanation of the Shinto spirits.

I really enjoyed being part of Ken's experience. The point of view video footage along with Ken's interesting narrative felt like I was walking on the holy grounds of the Kyoto Shinto temples! In addition to this, you get to choose and view video clips of other unique activities unique to Kyoto. Ken is a passionate and knowledgeable host who went out of his way to ensure the guest had a great time. A highly recommended experience!
