The large panoramic front window lets you enjoy nature right from the bed: stunning sunrises, Northern Lights and views of the river, mountains and volcano Hekla. The house has a modern and well-equipped kitchen and a comfortable bathroom. !!Starting mid-June, a brand-new Jacuzzi with massage function and lighting will offer even more comfort!!

Unique experience for people looking to travel around Iceland or for those who prefer just to stay in and enjoy the rural countryside. With a beautiful 360° scenery and a grand pateo you can enjoy mesmerizing sunsets and spectacular northern lights showings, given the complete lack of light pollution. It's the photohgrapher's dream location. Eyjafjallajökull and Seljalandsfoss can be seen from the apartment. 4x4 is necessary during winter as the path leading to the house can get very snowy.

Ideal conditions to enjoy the Northern Lights in our cozy little house. We are located 8 km from Hvolsvöllur and the main viewing points of South Iceland are a short drive away. Places such as Seljalandsfoss, Þórsmörk, Vestmannaeyjar, Vík and Reynisfjara are within 1 hour's drive. Everything is there to have an adventurous experience in Iceland.

Unique cabin in Vik - 1 bedroom cabin C

This is a cabin in a row of 4, each cottage only sleeps 2 persons, please respect that. Each cabin is 28 m2 and has private entrance. This cabin (C) has one bedroom, small open living, dining and kitchen area. There is a bathroom with a wc and a shower. There is a small kitchenette (stove and a fridge) and dining facility. There is wifi and TV. Please note that there are no amenities for infants but it is not possible to specify "no infants" in the criteria.

The cottages are comfortably designed to make you feel home away from home and to enjoy the amazing nature that the south coast of Iceland has to offer. If you are lucky you might even see the Northern Lights dancing in the sky.

Vallnatún Cottage is located on the South coast of Iceland, nearby many of the main attractions, like waterfalls, volcanoes, black sand beaches and glaciers. The place is nearby the main road but at the same time a remote place, with a great view of the coastline on one side and the mountains on the other side.

Nice cottage house by Eyjafjallajökull, central location for visiting some of the best tourist sides in South Iceland. The house has good kitchen with all you need for cooking. One bed and a good sleeping sofa.
