You'll love the leafy views from our self-contained garden cottage. We are high on the hill in convenient Mitchelton with great NNE aspect. It's 150m to a fabulous suburban cafe and not far to a major shopping centre, the suburbs quaint shopping area and train - 18 minutes to town. The studio space has a well-equipped kitchenette, bathroom, washing machine, TV, unlimited WiFi and air-con. There's a made queen size bed (and if needed a spare mattress with linen supplied for guests to make)

Wake up in the morning to just the sounds of the birds in your retreat set in 10 acres of rural paradise. From your private terrace, set amidst the beautiful gardens, you can wander freely through the grounds. Our property is home to a great many native species, including wallabies and over 100 species of birds. We have no domestic pets. Head into Samford village for a coffee at one of the many iconic coffee shops, or take a stroll through the nearby rainforests of Mt Glorious and Mt Nebo.

The Yellow Cat Flat is your number 1 North Brisbane suburban stay for 2-3 people. This spacious self contained air conditioned flat boasts a comfortable memory foam king sized bed, deep 3 seater lounge, dining area, new bathroom,small kitchen and private deck. Ferny Hills pool and a large well-maintained public park with play equipment are right across the road. Enjoy eating in with plenty of local options to order from or cook in your kitchen and relax on your leafy and private deck.

Unit is located behind our house. Own entrance, off street parking. A 2 minute walk to Shops (Coles +), restaurants and hotel. A bus stop, which can take you to Chermside (shops or more buses) or Strathpine shops and railway station or the City. A 15 minute drive to major shopping centres and hospitals. 40 minutes to city. 2 hours Gold Coast and 1.5 hours to Sunshine coast. The unit is only suitable for 1 or 2 guests. I am sorry but I cannot accommodate infants/children or pets.

A short walk to the bus station which will take you to the city (4 kms away) or central Ashgrove (1km). NB: There is no parking on premises but available parking less than a minutes walk.
