The local countryside is great for walking, road or mountain biking. Within 10 minutes are the pretty market town of Ledbury, Eastnor Castle, and the wedding venue Birtsmorton Court. Great Malvern and the Three Counties Show-ground are 20 minutes and Cheltenham - home of the Gold Cup and literature and jazz festivals - is around 30 minutes.

Idyllic rural location in Sheepscombe village

A self contained annexe on a working small holding which has recently been refurbished to a high standard. It is overlooking the unique village of Sheepscombe with fantastic panoramic views over the village and surrounding National Trust beechwoods. This rural retreat is a walkers paradise, dog friendly with close access into the woods behind and near to the Laurie Lee way in the Slad Valley. Stroud, Cheltenham, Cirencester and Gloucester are a short drive away. An idyllic quiet get away.

Modern Hayloft in Cotswolds

The hayloft is very old but we have converted it into a 2 bed suite (one double bed & one big round bed on the mezzanine) with a 'shed bathroom' and a large lounge. It is on top of part of our own house (above the kitchen) but has a separate private entrance and a door onto the garden. There is no kitchen facility - think hotel rooms rather than self catering! It is right in the heart of the village a couple of hundred metres from good restaurants, ancient pubs and independent shops.

Cosy Self Catering Maple House Lodge

Maple House Lodge is a 1st floor guest annex, accessed via an external staircase. Located in a quiet location on the edge of the village, with rural views and comprising an open plan sitting/dining area, with TV and a well equipped kitchen with hob, oven, sink, fridge, and cooking utensils for our self catering guests. The bedroom has a super king size bed, dressing table, chest of drawers and hanging rail and en-suite shower. Parking on site Guests are welcome to use our Gym

Forest of Dean - The Little Acorn

An immaculately presented studio apartment providing the highest standard of accommodation attached to the owner’s own home in the popular village of Parkend. The Potting Shed is a contemporary wooden garden studio nestled at the bottom of my 100 metre garden, located next to a natural woodland area. It is accessed via a key safe and has its own private garden to the rear, which is a haven for natural wildlife including many birds and animals. The garden has a fire pit which guests are welcome to use. Marshmallows provided on request!
