Inside, Shepherd's Rest has a comfy double bed, sofa, foldaway dining area, modern en-suite shower room with flushing toilet and a log-burner, perfect for those cold winter's evenings. Situated in rural Herefordshire, our shepherd’s hut is a perfect hideaway for two adults. It is set in secluded woodland with open views. It offers peace, privacy and a chance to truly switch off. Inside, relax by the cosy wood burner, sink into a comfortable double bed, enjoy the convenience of an ensuite shower room and thoughtfully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar. Perfect for year-round romantic escapes. Spend your days strolling quiet country lanes , stargazing or enjoying a good book!

Tom's Hut

Get away from it all in a cosy shepherd’s hut amongst trees in a beautiful rural location. Tom's Hut has a comfortable double bed, storage below and a compact kitchen unit with double gas hob, sink and fridge, pots, pans crockery and cutlery. Keep warm with a wood-burner and fire wood provided, or underfloor heating. Outside, there is a table for al-fresco dining. A newly built, heated shower room is close to the hut. Just 3 miles from Newent and various pubs. Please note there is no WiFi.

On the edge of The Forest of Dean and Wye Valley, our luxury 16 foot Shepherd's Hut was built and professionally fitted in 2021. It has a shower room with WC, a log burner, fitted bed, kitchen unit with mini fridge and inside dining table. No cooker in the hut. There is a toaster and a kettle. We can provide a breakfast. Outside there is 16x9' external decking a gas BBQ for cooking,chiminea. Stunning views. The hut is on our own 3.5 acre smallholding . We do not allow dogs in the hut.

It is entirely self-contained (double bed, kitchen area and shower/toilet, all connected to the mains supply) with its own entrance from the country lane, its own garden and surrounded by beautiful Herefordshire countryside and wildlife. It is ideally placed for walking and cycling, exploring nearby attractions or simply relaxing with a book.
