The River House is located on the Monocacy River with the Monocacy National Battlefield on the opposite shore. Downtown Frederick, Maryland is just 3 miles away. A brick charcoal barbecue grill is offered for outdoor grilling. There are 3 units available in the River House. This is the largest and includes a full modern kitchen with island seating for 5, 2 full baths, washer/dryer and sleeps 5 comfortably. The property is served by T-Mobile high speed internet. The Villa is not pet friendly.

Spruce Run Cottage, Farm stay on Catoctin Mountain
The cottage is located on 25 acres of mostly wooded terrain off Highway 17 near Wolfsville, Maryland, less than an hour and a half from D.C. The cottage faces the woods and the private drive down to the creek. There is almost zero light pollution at night so stargazing is incredible from the balcony. The hosts live on the property up the hill in an 1890’s chink log cabin. Although you can see our house, the cottage feels very private and is a quiet comfortable retreat in the hills.

Beautiful, quiet woodland setting with a creek running through it, just 5 miles from downtown Frederick. Tucked away into the woods our tiny A-Frame has a comfortable queen bed(not an air mattress) for a rest and retreat fully immersed in the poplar woods. This is a camping style set up- so if you enjoy camping then this place is for you. No running water- but plenty of good clean mountain water available , no electricity, compost toilet. We do not allow dogs.
