Hingabarn, a unique place in a unique location

A traditional barn, set on the slopes of Whernside, in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, this truly is a secluded spot. Located at the end of a narrow track, it is surrounded by woodland, fields and two streams. The open plan, rustic style suits couples, small groups and some families, and is ideal as a base for outdoor activities. A peaceful dog-friendly rural retreat with walks on your doorstep, exclusive use of the garden, charcoal BBQ, pizza oven, and a wood-fired hot tub to relax in.

Hawks Barn, Horton-in-Ribblesdale, Yorkshire Stays

Hawks Barn, overlooking Pen-y-Ghent, is a luxury mix of contemporary combined with original charm, situated 0.6 miles from Horton-in-Ribblesdale. Perfect for the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge, Pennine Way, Pennine Bridleway or a relaxing rural break away from the madding crowd. Rooms can be split, superkings, singles or a mix sleeping a total of 9 guests. For evenings out, the warm and welcoming Crown Hotel pub is ideally located at the end of the lane, an easy 10min walk (Sleeps 9).

A picture perfect, listed cottage with lots of original and quirky features located at the foot of Pen y Ghent right in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The ideal place to rest after walking or exploring. 5 minutes walk from the train station for those wanting to enjoy the Settle to Carlisle route. The cottage benefits from a wood burner, washing machine, dishwasher, power shower, exposed beams, private riverside garden and very close proximity (2 mins walk) to 2 good pubs!

Foxup House Barn

Foxup House Barn is a converted one bedroom farm building, totally self-contained to the side of our house. It has it's own entrance with private parking space for one vehicle and private walled and fenced garden. It is situated at the end of a no-through road, totally surrounded by hills with stunning views from every window. Newly converted in 2023 we have put much thought and love into the project, aiming to create a warm, comfortable and stylish space, finished to a high standard.

The Old Potting Shed, cosy retreat with hot tub

The Old Potting Shed is a romantic hideaway for two set in the walled garden of the owners' house with its own private entrance. The retreat is totally secluded, but still just a minutes walk to Sedbergh's lovely pubs and cafes. It's the perfect base: head out walking in the hills straight from your door or use our electric bikes to explore the quiet lanes. When you get back, soak in the wood fired hot tub and enjoy a drink on the terrace while admiring the wonderful view of the fells.

The Chicken Shed at Knowle Top

The Chicken Shed at Knowle Top was newly built in 2019 on the ruins of an old barn and decorated to the highest standards of industrial chic. Situated in a most unique location, high on the Ribble Valley side of Lancashire’s iconic Pendle Hill, it sits surrounded by sheep pastures where hare and fox come to say good-night. Despite this rural idyll, we’re only a five minute car drive from Clitheroe, one of the North-West’s nicest market towns. The views will take your breath away!

With exposed original features and rich colour schemes drawn from the picturesque surroundings of the Haworth moors (where Cathy and Heathcliffe ran wild!) guests can expect to be transported to an earlier time whilst still benefiting from the luxury of modern-day amenities.
