Come stay with us for the ultimate battlefield experience! The 1920s Farmhouse on 10 wooded acres on Willoughby Run directly across the street from the Herbst Woods where the first day's infantry battle occurred on July 1st, 1863. It is hard to get much closer, with less than a 2 minute drive to the battlefield and a 4 minute drive to historic downtown Gettysburg. On our property you will encounter our ducks, geese, chickens, Friday the cat, 2 goats and 2 friendly farm dogs

Cozy country charm

My cottage has beautiful views from every side of the house and a relaxing front porch to sit and relax and enjoy a cup of coffee. It's a cozy cottage at the foot of the mountain with lots of privacy. There are no neighbors. There are horses here to enjoy watching them graze or feed them a snack. It's truly a nice getaway and still only a half hour from 3 local towns. For warmer weather there is a firepit, picnic table, grill and some nice shaded areas to relax.

The Lavender House is an enchanting pre-Civil War farmhouse nestled in the middle of a working 600 acre farm. It was remodeled with love 18 years ago and became a cozy family home, where children grew and memories were created. Full of charm, The Lavender House boasts hand chosen antiques, beautiful wood beams, original hard wood flooring and a wood burning fireplace to warm your winter nights.
