Relax and enjoy astounding glacier and mountain views from every window in Glacier View, Alaska. This is an authentic, spacious Alaskan log cabin built in 1973. The cabin has a full custom kitchen, full bath, and a private view of the Matanuska Glacier from inside the cabin or from the deck. Prepare your own meals in the fully equipped kitchen, or dine at our local lodge across the road. The Glacier View Log Cabin sleeps up to 6 and has TV, wifi, and woodstove heat. Our cabin is in a private wilderness setting on a beautiful stream. There is a wood-fired sauna for your use and it’s located a mere 50 yards from the cabin. In mid-July through mid-September salmon often swim by your deck. Our single room streamside cabin rests on the Southfork branch of Montana Creek, built from local spruce and birch. We do not have television or hot running water; our bathroom is a cozy outhouse.
