An ideal location for a romantic getaway, exploring the Southern Moreton Bay Isles, or aquatic activities. Dugong Place is a genuine retreat and home away from home.

This Fingal Beach House is ideally located close to the Beautiful Fingal Surf Beach and close to the fantastic fishing along the Tweed River. Fingal Head is one of the little known corners of the Tweed Coast holiday scene, quiet unspoiled beaches and the sparkling Tweed River are right on the doorstep. Fingal township is at the end of a long sand spit with the Tweed River on one side and the Pacific Ocean on the other. Please note we do not charge extra for you being able to bring your pets.

The popular coastal village of Paradise Point and also Sanctuary Cove are only a 10 minute drive away with beachfront parks, restaurants, cafes and shops. It is nestled amongst natural bushland and only 100m to the gentle waters edge of Moreton Bay. It offers 4 bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms with multiple indoor and outdoor dining and lounge areas. It offers a warm home away from home and is the perfect place for rest and relaxation, to enjoy a slower pace and immerse yourself in nature.

Peaceful creek and ocean beach access. 200m walk to surf beach. 35 minutes from Tweed Rail Trail. This rail trail is accessible from Burringbar, Mooball or Murwillumbah which are all less than 35 minutes from Rene's Cottage. There are pelicans, herons, osprey and marine animals. Can comfortably accommodate 2 adults. Whale watching June >> November. All cooking equipment, bed linen and towels supplied. Kayaks and crab pots; no extra, but no pets. Check in time 2pm. Check out time is 10am.

Resthaven Beachside Stay - Lamb Island, Southern Morton Bay Do nothing but relax and enjoy the view, the birds, the sea, walks, swim, eat, drink, relax and unwind. Our club is close, and pubs, clubs and restaurants on nearby islands. Enjoy the sea (including kayaks) from our lawn at high tide, bicycles, and a spa-pool on request. The suite includes a queen bed (only), sea views, a kitchen, bathroom and an outside patio overlooking the bay. There is aircon. No cleaning fee.
