3 - 1/2 miles North of US-2 Perfectly nested in a beautiful country setting with pull in driveway with a large area for parking. Plenty of FREE firewood for the firepit for relaxing around a fire in the evening under the stars. Maple Leaf is centrally located 1 hour or less to U.P. attractions. South Manistique Lake which is 2 miles north of cottage. You can access the trails from the south of cottage 300 feet on a scenic trail in the woods about 2 miles turn left or right to find the trails.

We have just added an outdoor sauna to this fabulous cabin in the woods behind our house. Although there is only 1 proper bedroom there is a sleeping loft with a queen size bed and window overlooking the hardwood forest. We also have a pull-out couch. Guests have complete privacy and everything provided for a comfortable stay This is a cabin with peaceful relaxation in mind....no loud parties or anything of that nature. We are a campground, home to Benny Beardfisher, the famous Thomas Dambo Troll. Riverfront Cabin #1 (R1) is situated right on the riverbank. The cabin comfortably houses 2-4 people. The cabin is furnished with a queen size bed. Additional cots available upon request. Cabin is equipped with microwave mini fridge, propane heater and air conditioning and wifi. We have a darling little camp store filled with anything you may have forgot or decide you can't live without.
